The history behind using Palm Wax vs. Paraffin or Soy is its naturally clean burn.  Palm Wax comes from the oil in the fruits from the palm plants, which are then pressed and distilled.   Out of all the different types of waxes out there in the marketplace, it’s the purest food quality (non-GMO) wax.  It is also found in many lotions.  Its hardness relies on a hotter burn therefore you’ll find your larger container candles with multiple wicks.
 
While searching for the perfect wax, we had learned of many manufacturers cutting down rainforests to build palm harvesting plantations in Malaysia and Indonesia.  Our resources are in Southeast Asia which is strongly against ruining the eco-system and compromising the livelihood of the people and animal habitats that populate those areas.  Our suppliers are associated with the RSPO (Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil) which was founded by the WWF (World Wide Fund for Nature).  Their practices are among the best to constitute and implement the health and welfare of our nature’s land.
